Before you can understand how Nanoguard B works, it is important
to know about the hair follicle's life cycle. Each hair goes through
this cycle independently of all other hairs on the scalp:
As you can see, hair only grows in the Anagen phase
of the cycle. Nanoguard B aims to optimise this Anagen
phase so that it produces the strongest, healthiest
growth possible, resulting in healthier hair.
Nanoguard B's topical formulation includes the ‘Anagen
Activator.’ Based on scientific studies, this active
ingredient can aid hair growth and make the Anagen
phase as productive as possible.
Nanoguard B targets one of the main causes of hair
loss in a similar way to Nanoguard A.
Nanoguard B aims to help combat hair loss and protect
hair from damage. This makes the effects of maintaining
and optimising growth more noticeable.
Nanoguard B is formulated in a serum format designed
for thinning scalps, and can be applied easily every
night.
The serum format will not irritate, and the application is more gentle than a foam and so doesn't pull out or damage hair

In this column, we are looking at the finished Nanoguard B product
at 10% concentration tested on 16 real human volunteers suffering
from hair loss.
The Test
16 healthy male volunteers aged between 18 & 65, all with
slight to moderate thinning hair. No volunteer had used an anti-hair
loss treatment before. Nanoguard B was applied once daily for 12
weeks.
At each visit, a dermatology examination was conducted on the scalp,
with a search for the following signs:
- pruritus (absent, minor, moderate, major)
- seborrhea of the scalp (absent, minor, moderate, major)
- erythema (absent, minor, moderate, major)
- dandruff (absent, minor, moderate, major)
- exudation (absent, minor, moderate, major)
Any sign described by the volunteer was entered in the case report
form.
No volunteer reported a sign of intolerance and/or discomfort
which shows the serum format is gentle enough for thinning scalps
All volunteers in the study reported that hair growth was maintained, and in some cases increased while using Nanoguard B.
All volunteers also reported an increased hair density
& thickness, and a healthier feel when asked. |
